Freaking Out About Privacy

After watching the TED talks and thinking about all the different things we've talked about in class, I think I can officially say I'm more freaked out than before about our privacy. Everything can be against us when it comes to privacy, like our phones and any of our online history. The amount of things that we think are private and can be seen by so many different people is terrifying. Even things that we share with those we trust can be turned against us, especially if the relationship breaks down and now that person can use them as a weapon against you. Our online life is especially scary, as described through this TED talk , shows just how scary privacy can be online. Anything you post can be seen by anyone, even if you try to set it otherwise. If someone finds your profile they can view anything you've posted. Even if you make a mistake and delete something quickly, its still out there.
